3dprint Help Learn with Us

Here at 3d print help, we want everyone to learn how to print and have fun while doing it. The biggest bummer is when you have to fix things for longer than it takes to print or try to print something. Walking up to our printer, hitting print, watching them grow is the best feeling. I love working on my printers or upgrading them, but I want them to work when I print.
I believe we can help most people to strive for this amount of prowess in the 3d printing world. We can get you up and printing good quality models in much less time than it would watching YouTube or reading a bunch of articles. Please don't get me wrong, there is a time and place for that, and sometimes it's what we need to do. I like picking up my phone and talking to a friend who can guide me through an issue that would have taken an hour or even days to figure out on my own.
Our goal is for everyone to love 3d printing as much as we do. Yesterday I took in a printer in pieces thrown in a box, I am guessing in disgust. I put the whole thing back together, lining things up correctly. I have put together many printers and now know the proper way. It was a cheaper printer, and the manual is terrible. It has a few key components that are even worse. The firmware is missing the temperature runaway code from Marlin. The LCD setup was also hard to use. Who could expect them to get this machine running being so new to this hobby? In the end, this machine runs great after all the modifications. I only knew these things because of experience and when new would have done the same thing. Obviously, if they had someone to call, I could have guided them over Zoom, and they would be printing instead of frustrated. In a few short minutes, we could have guided them to the parts needed and the guides to install them. We could have told them what to do to make the printer safe.
Another big issue for a beginner is getting past how to slice models. The software is relatively easy but, at first, can be overwhelming. I watched video after video and read many articles only to realize every printer and every filament is different. One needs to tune each one. In the beginning, I had no idea because no one explained this in the proper way. It makes sense for them to lead you to the next video or content they create.
My first few days of printing were confusing and frustrating, and I feel if I had a person I could call to get direction, I would have progressed much faster. I hope we can help you get up and printing so you can enjoy this as much as I do. Please give us a call! Let's have fun printing now, not three weeks from now—all the best 3d print help desk. Have fun printing!

3d Print Help
We will have a forum soon. Please stop back often!
3dprint.help was created for all those times when you are trying to print, and nothing is going right. Sure, we can go to our favorite YouTube channel or forum, but it is always a waiting game. Today with our experts standing by, you can get on a video chat and SHOW them the problem! I wish this were around when I was in my shop trying to get that printer working that I bought at a garage sale. I am great with mechanicals, but it was the software throwing me. It took me a month to get consistently good prints. I say good with a caveat; today, I would consider those fails. Please have a look around, and if you see anything, we can do better; mention it in the comments of an article or drop us an email. Please be kind.
